Conductor Gauge: 23 AWG, Conductor Type: Solid, Compliance: TIA/EIA-568- C.2, UL Listed. Color: Blue. Panduit or equal. Cable Type: Cat 6, Length: 305 meters, Shielding: U/UTP (Unshielded/Unshielded Twisted Pair), Jacket Type: Plenum-rated (CMP), Color: Blue. Conductor Gauge: 23 AWG, Conductor Type: Solid, Compliance: TIA/EIA-568- C.2, UL Listed. Color: Green. Panduit or equal The U.S. Government intends to award a purchase order to the responsible vendor submitting an acceptable proposal at the lowest price technically acceptable, based on initial proposals without holding discussions. The Government reserves the right to reject proposals that are unreasonably low or high in price. The Government will determine acceptability by assessing the offeror's compliance with the terms of the RFQ. The Government will determine responsibility by analyzing whether the apparent successful offeror complies with the requirements of Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) 9.1, including: • ability to comply with the required performance period, taking into consideration all existing commercial and governmental business commitments; • satisfactory record of integrity and business ethics; • necessary organization, experience, and skills or the ability to obtain them; • necessary equipment and facilities or the ability to obtain them; and • otherwise, qualified and eligible to receive an award under applicable laws and regulations. . I recommend that the Embassy Abu Dhabi consider an alternative to full and open competition for the acquisition of Purchase Request 12777115. This request includes plenum-rated CAT6 U/UTP cables, which can be obtained from any brand, and Panduit Mini-Com CAT6 modules, which are brand-specific but not tied to a specific supplier. The total estimated cost exceeds USD 10,000.
