• Expression of Interest are invited for Social Media Services in Support of IRENA-s Communications Activities Objectives of social media services: • Help reinforce IRENA-s overall communications activities through a dedicated placement and marketing plan for existing content on social media. • Position IRENA as global lead agency and custodian for the tracking of the global renewables target. • Provide strategic and marketing advice to maximize social media impact including through cost estimation for paid social media advertisement. • Increase audience engagement on social media channels, leading to improved brand awareness. Target audiences: • Policymakers and opinion-lead influencers • Finance community and investors globally. • Global social media channels with strong focus on G7 and G20. • General public in the Global South with selected key markets in Africa, Latin America and Asia. Scope of service of the social media company may include the following: • Conceptualize a social media strategy and accompanying roll-out plan for existing content. • Draft innovative, creative social media content. • Suggest a placement and marketing plan for selected social media accounts in key markets. • Build a social media calendar, making use of marketing analysis tools. • Develop targeted social media advertisement proposals and outline the budget requirement for paid activities.
