The Health Workforce Sector is responsible for developing a strategy for the healthcare workforce in the healthcare sector of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, as well as developing and monitoring policies, conditions, and standards for the practice of medical professions. It is also responsible for procedures related to licensing healthcare professionals, as well as overseeing examinations, accreditations, and continuing professional development activities. The goal of this service is to develop and implement an upskilling training program for fetal anomaly screening to identify fetal abnormalities using ultrasound examinations during pregnancy. This program integrates theoretical and practical components into the training, aligning the program with international best practices and local healthcare needs.
