- Poison & Drug Information Service Case Management Software Background Poison centers are a unique service that delivers care to poisoned patients through a dedicated 24/7 hotline and offers public health surveillance capabilities to regulators. Case management, their core function, must be supported by advanced solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This project aims to implement case management software to collect, manage, and analyze cases of poisoning and drug overdoses received by the PDIS through calls from the public and from healthcare professionals. This will represent the core step towards full digitalization of PDIS operations, as approved by DOH leadership. This solution will function as a specialized electronic medical record for clinical toxicology and will be used by our Specialists in Poison Information (pharmacists and medical doctors) at the DOH call center.
