- The Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority is initiating an IT Service Management (ITSM) program focused on enhancing its IT security Operations capabilities for tackling the ever-increasing and evolving information technology complexity and cyber security challenges. The main objective of this project is to assess and recommend customized best practices for managing IT services in the form of a program that allows tracking the maturity level of the controls, managing information risk using a set of performance and risk metrics at different domains of the security program, and achieving cost optimization. The consultancy service provider should take the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority from an identified current state of IT security Governance maturity to a desired state of operational excellence necessary to protecting resources and data and achieving compliance with the ISO/IEC 20000-1 international standard and best practices. The IT Service Management program should address the core aspects of IT Service Management in terms of people, processes, and technology to enable the preservation of the IT best practices.
