- DMT-RFP-25-083 - Design of miscellaneous works for rainwater drainage networks, connection to marine outfalls, reducing groundwater levels, and monitoring water quality - Package 2 The Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) is seeking the services of a capable and experienced consultant to provide consultancy services in relation to the preparation of a 2D Model for Flood Mitigation and Revalidation of the Master Plan. This project aims to develop a state-of-the-art 2D flood model as an instrumental tool for assessing and simulating stormwater network flow and surface water flooding during extreme rainfall. The model, after being validated with field and satellite data, will be used to simulate and optimize stormwater network upgrades, including the planning to integrate Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS) and simulation of flood risks for scenarios of 5 to 100 years event. The results of the simulation will be used to streamline the policies, regulations, and design guidelines and update Abu Dhabi-s Stormwater Management Capital Investment Plan (CIP).
