• Public Tender Annountment: - Scope BRIEF: Development and implementation of Abu Dhabi Environmental Twin - [The first stage: focus on air quality data]: The first stage of the development and implementation of the environmental digital twin of Abu Dhabi focuses especially on air quality data, which is a basic step in building a comprehensive digital model that reflects the environmental state of the emirate. Digital twins is an advanced technique aimed at simulating material reality in a virtual environment, allowing monitoring and accurately analyzing environmental factors. At this stage, the focus is on the collection and integration of air quality data using advanced Internet sensors and Internet of Things, to provide an accurate image of pollution levels, the concentration of micro particles (such as PM2.5 and PM10), and gases such as carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide. The Environment Authority - Abu Dhabi, through this initiative, seeks to enhance environmental sustainability efforts, as it tracks air quality is a major priority to ensuring the health of the population and protecting environmental systems. The development process at this stage includes the design of a digital infrastructure capable of processing huge data, in addition to laying the foundations of predictive models that can help in dealing with challenges such as pollution resulting from industrial activities or climate changes.
