- Some sites under the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) contain hazardous asbestos materials, either in the form of sheets, pipes, broken and scattered fragments (debris),etc. These materials pose a significant risk to public safety. Therefore, DCT intends to undertake the safe removal and disposal of asbestos materials from certain historical buildings and sites as needed and in accordance with work requirements. The removed materials will be transported to officially approved waste disposal sites in compliance with best practices and established environmental and health standards. This will be a 3-year period engagement
