RECTIFICATION OF ELECTRIC FIRE PUMP IN JAFN 132 KV S/S RECTIFICATION OF ELECTRIC FIRE PUMP, MAKE: SPP, MODEL: TD15F, RATED FLOW: 125 0 USGPM, RATED HEAD # 87 PSI, RATED SPEED -2950 RPM NATURE OF DEFECT: BOTH NDE/DE BEARINGS ARE OVERHEATING. DURING ANNUAL PERFORMAN CE TEST, MOTOR DRIVEN END BEARING IS OVERHEATING UP 92°C AFTER RUNNING OF 30 MINUTES. ALSO ABNORMAL SOUND FROM PUMP WHILE STARTING A ND STOPPING. THE SCOPE SHALL INCLUDE REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE NDE/DE BEARINGS, GLAND PACKING AND PUMP CASING GASKET & O-RINGS AS APP LICABLE AND ALIGNMENT OF SHAFT TO BE DONE .
