• Tenders are invited for Purchasing of X-Ray Photoelectron Spectrometer (XPS) Summary: This project is a purchase of an X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) instrument which is highly needed as an essential instrument for teaching and research purposes, especially at the graduate level. This machine is instrumental for the characterization and understanding the structure and the composition of advanced materials. The fact that most of the advanced technologies today are based on advanced materials makes this project of a high priority for advancing the research in different university colleges as well improving the quality of graduate teaching. The project includes an XPS instrument with various important accessories and options. The project will also provide comprehensive training sessions by factory engineer to graduate students and faculty members over 3 days after successful installation and testing of the instrument by the supplier.
