- Tenders are invited for Outsourcing of Information Technology Internal Audit Services. 1. Internal audit: The primary objective of the Internal Audit Office (IAO) in United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) is to provide a comprehensive assurance and consulting services to ensure that adequate measures and procedures are in place for sound economic, effective and efficient management. To meet legislative and stakeholder requirements as well as its primary objective, the office has conducted and prepared risk profile for all organizational unites in UAEU, The IAO has completed the implementation the internal audit Plan for three years (2019-2021) except the Information Technology Audit assignment. However, the challenge is lack of capacity that will enable achievement of the Information Technology Audit assignments. The University requires full-outsourced assistance in relation to internal audit assignment of Division of Information Technology. The approved service provider will be required to render internal audit services as outlined in the risk-based operational plan. The approved service provider must demonstrate the capability to perform the internal audits in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditing Standards and Practices, and Internal Audit methodology in the university. Bidders who have or are providing internal audit services to similar entities are encouraged to submit bids. UAEU would like to contract with a qualified consultant to conduct internal auditing services( IT audit) in an advanced and acceptable professional manner and in accordance with the terms of this RfP.
