Request for Information for Metaverse Digital Social Interaction Platform Provision The Higher Colleges of Technology is seeking to deploy a metaverse platform solution, enabling digital social interactions inside 3D environments and digital spaces. The specifications described in this document aim to set a baseline for proposed solutions which can provide a comprehensive metaverse social interaction platform to enable the hosting and delivery of diverse events and scenarios. Vendors are invited to detail their platform solutions which meet all of the following mandatory requirements, at the time of this information request. The proposed solution should meet all the baseline criteria and requirements set out in this scope of work, and vendors can propose more than one solution which meets all the requirements set out below. 2.1 UAE-based cloud deployment Vendors must propose a suitable solution which is currently available on a UAEbased cloud deployment basis. Solution must be compliant with relevant UAE regulatory frameworks. 2.2 Importing of custom-built environments Solutions must provide functionality to import ready-made 3D environments and models, allowing them to be used as spaces or objects to facilitate social interactions. Participating vendors should be able provide optimization guidance to HCT 3D asset developers, where needed, to optimize imported environments according to platform requirements and limitations.
