BIDDING OPENS ON: 23 February 2023 DUE ON: 22 May 2023 The Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD) plans to construct, establish and operate a SeedConservation Center a medium-term periods of 5-10 years seed storage facility In al Dhafra regionto play a major role in native flora conservation and degraded habitat/ restoration which will be thefirst of its kind to cover seed preservation periods for medium-term. The center will contain thenecessary equipment and machinery for extracting, drying, cleaning, and packing the seeds. Theproject will contribute to following:· Conservation of plant diversity· Restoration of degraded habitats· Documentation and conservation of ethno botanical heritage · Building the national capacity in plant conservation and habitat restoration Contract Duration: 12 Months
