Quotation are invited for DMT - Asset Tagging Initiative for All Native Trees in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi DMT in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Environment Agency, have launched the Asset Tagging Initiative for all native trees in Abu Dhabi, of important heritage, to promote their significance, improve their management and share more information with the public. This initiative is a program to protect the heritage of local trees in Abu Dhabi by expanding and develop the current local tree numbering system to ensure greater awareness of community groups on the legislation and importance of preserving local trees, of protecting the local trees from illegal encroachments, utilizing metal tags installed on the trees with awareness messages and information on tree protection guidelines. The project contributes to enhancing the quality of data available on trees in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and is highlighting the government's efforts to protect trees in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to ensure their sustainability as a symbol of our natural heritage and authentic cultural heritage.
